Hudson Valley Soccer School

Coaching Staff:

The coaching staff of the Hudson Valley Soccer School has hundreds of years of experience in soccer, 16 yrs. experience at the Division 1 Collegiate Level, 16 National Coaching Certificates, 12 New York State Titles, and 3 National Championships.

Shannon Garvey ~ Coach Garvey currently coaches the boys team at Van Wyke Jr. High School.  She played her college soccer at the University of Virginia and also spent time on the US Youth National Team.  Coach Garvey was a 4 time Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year during her high school days and still holds many scoring records. 

Mike Gatta ~ Coach Gatta is an assistant coach at Lourdes High School. 

CJ Greenwood ~  Coach Greenwood is currently the coach of the LaGrange Hawks and the Lourdes Girls Varsity Soccer Team.  Coach Greenwood played college soccer at SUNY Cortland and he has also coached at John Jay High School for a number of years.  Coach Greenwood is also a physical education teacher at Van Wyke Jr. High School.

John Nunez ~  Coach Nunez is currently the boys varsity soccer coach at Lourdes.

David Seipp  ~  Coach Seipp was a four-year Varsity starter at John Jay HS earning All-State honors his senior year.  Coach Seipp went on to play at Herkimer County Community College where he won two national titles and was honored as a two-time All-American.  He played his remaining two years of college soccer at Marist.  He holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and is a Nationally Certified Tennis Instructor. 

Nikole Seipp  ~  Coach Seipp played for the 1973 North Babylon Strikers and won 5 consecutive State Cup Titles and 7 Long Island Cups.  She also was a member of the Long Island Select and State Olympic Development Program.  She went on to be a 4-year Division I starter at James Madison University.  Coach Seipp was also a member of the Long Island Lady Rough Riders for three years and won the National Championship in ‘95.    

Ricky Seipp  ~  Coach Seipp is the Director of the Hudson Valley Soccer School.  Coach Seipp played 4 years at the Varsity Level at John Jay High School and captained the team his senior year.  He went on to star at Mt. St. Mary College (in Newburgh) and held the single season scoring record.  Coach Seipp earned  a USSF 'B' License and an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.  He has coached the boys’ and girls’ varsity team at Our Lady of Lourdes High School for six years, winning three sectional titles.

Robert Seipp  ~  Coach Seipp played one season at Iona College in the fall of 1987 before transferring to Marist College.  Coach Seipp earned a USSF 'A' License and an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.  He has coached in the State Olympic Development Program (ODP) on Long Island and in the Eastern Upstate Program.  Coach Seipp was the Women’s Open Empire State Coach for five years at the Empire State Games and a Division 1 College Head Coach at Iona for two years (’94, ’95).  He also coached the East Fishkill Strikers to back - to - back State Cup Titles in ’96 and ’97.  Coach Seipp is currently the coach of John Jay High School Boys’ Varsity team.  John Jay won the Class ‘A’ State Title in 2000 and five Sectional Titles under Coach Seipp.  

Darryl Sullivan  ~  Coach Sulllivan is the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at Roy C. Ketcham High School.  He played for 1974 East Fishkill Panthers.  Coach Sullivan was a three year Varsity starter at John Jay.  His senior year he received All State Honors.  He continued his playing career at Virginia Wesleyan College in VA. Beach.  In four years as the Co-Coach of Ketcham Boys Varsity Soccer team, he has led the Indians to 3 Sectional Titles and went to the State Final Four three times.  

Cori Witkiewicz ~ Coach Witkiewicz is an Assistant Coach at Suny Potsdam.  As a player she won 2 sectional championships at Lourdes High School.
